Australia Opt to Bat First in Second T20I Against Bangladesh

Australia won the toss and decided to bat against Bangladesh in the second T20I in Chattogram, with captain Mitchell Marsh choosing to bat first.

Bangladesh captain Towhid Hridoy took the same decision in the first game on Wednesday. The home side made two changes, resting Shoriful Islam and Mahedi Hasan, bringing in fast bowler Nahid Rana and left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed.

Team Changes

Australia have made one change, drafting in allrounder Aaron Hardie in place of Xavier Bartlett, which will lengthen the batting. This is Hardie’s first international appearance since facing South Africa last August.

It means that spin-bowling allrounders Nikhil Chaudhary and Joel Davies will have another chance to impress after making their debuts in the opening game. Australia lead the series 1-0 after winning the first match by four wickets.
